December, 2016 UPDATE:
We had the busiest year so far, with more than double the amount of family portrait sittings we had in 2015. We have been fine-tuning our lighting for even better quality light and have developed a better strategy for dealing with wind (have you heard it's windy here?!). Now that we've been in business for several years, we are very happy that many of our clients are returning to Estes Park and hiring us for another round of portraits in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Fall River Productions is now on SmugMugAlso new in 2016, we added online Portrait Galleries for our clients via SmugMug. Our clients are now able to view thier images online, as well as download the "print ready" images directly from their gallery. We also can offer print orders directly from the galleries using our favorite photo lab, White House Custom Color, so the quality is outstanding. Many other products besides standard prints are available now, such as wall art, coffee mugs, greeting cards, and much more.  Feel free to visit our online galleries and check out the various products available. We have also added a Fine Art Nature & Landscape Gallery with our own images that are available for purchase directly from the gallery.

Additonally in 2016, we were invited by the leading stock photo/footage company, Getty Images, to contribute to their library. We have begun uploading many of our high-resolution nature video clips and will be adding still images soon. It's pretty cool and we were honored they sought us out.

Also, we continue to produce videos for the YMCA of the Rockies (the largest YMCA in the world), Camp Chief Ouray, The Estes Park Medical Center, The US Trail Running Conference, The Rocky Mountain Conservancy, Rocky Mountain National Park, and more. Overall, 2016 was a banner year for FRP and we are looking forward to another fantastic year in 2017!

We have finished the new 25 minute video for the Rocky Mountain National Park Centennial, called Rocky Mountain National Park: Wilderness, Wildlife, Wonder. The Blu-ray and DVD versions are available at the Rocky Mountain Nature Conservancy stores and website. The film plays at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center theater at the Rocky Mountain National Park headquarters and also at the Kawuneeche visitor center theater and will play every hour at both theaters. You can read about where many of the shots were taken and some interesting facts and stories about filming this project on a special page we made for the park. October 6, 2014 UPDATE:
Well we've been very busy since moving into our offices/studio and haven't had a chance to update this section of our site. Our business has really taken off since we posted last. We were chosen to do the Rocky Mountain National Park Centennial video, which is a great honor for us! We have shot many weddings, family reunions, family portraits and individual portraits. We also have done several projects for the YMCA of the Rockies, including a new "Impact" video for 2014.

November 5, 2013: UPDATE
Fall River Productions has recently signed a lease for our new offices in Piccadilly Square and should be moving in around November 16th. Fall River Productions New OfficeThe space was completely flooded during the recent "Thousand Year Flood" here in Estes, but it sort of worked out to our advantage.

The owner is redoing the space literally from floor to ceiling, with new carpet, wood flooring, tile, ceiling and even the walls. We're also getting a new super-efficient gas heater, a new bathroom, and they are even insulating the interior walls and ceiling for sound dampening... we told them we're loud! It has a small back yard that backs right up to the Big Thompson River, so we'll be Fall River Productions on the Big Thompson River with a Riverside Drive address! We'll post some pictures when we're settled in.

02/28/2014 UPDATE: We are now fully moved in to our new offices and Wedding Photography and Videography by Fall River Productionscouldn't be happier! The whole process took a little longer than we had anticipated, but now that we're in we absolutley love it. Our office kittens, Iris and Pixel are also very happy here. We'll be posting some pictures and a video tour soon. If you're in the neighborhood, please stop by and say hello.

11/16/2013 UPDATE: Well, the 16th estimate was a little optimistic as it turns out. Now we're being given an estimate of "by the end of the month", which is fine but we're really excited to get in there. The drywall is now completely finished, the painting is scheduled for Monday, and the rest should come soon. Alex and his daughter Tobi have picked out two kittens for our "office cats" and their names are Pixel and Iris... any photography references here? The two sisters look almost identical and are taking up temporary residence at Alex's house. The next step is to introduce Brian's dog, Loki, to the cats. We'll let you know how that goes!

Fall River Productions YMCA of the Rockies Impact Video
Our Latest Corporate Video
The YMCA of the Rockies hired Fall River Productions to create a video piece for their annual donor dinner. The 10 minute video shows the impact the donor's money has made. We're told it was a huge success!

We've been busy with many weddings, family reunions, corporate videos, and more, and we're investing back into the business with many new equipment purchases to increase our production abilities and values. If you're into equipment and gadgets, be sure to visit our Equipment Page. Scroll down to see the latest gear purchases.

We're also building a new editing computer! Our current computers are fine, but could be faster. Brian, the Alpine Geek, can't be more excited about building a fast computer for resource hogs like video editing programs and 3D rendering programs like Adobe After Effects. If you're geeky like Brian and want to see what he's building, click here to see the building of a editing beast.
